Abstract The most famous wireless sensor networks is one of the cheapest and rapidly evolving in modern communication. It can be used to sense various substantial environmental specifications by providing cost-effective devices. development these exploited provide an energy-efficient weighted clustering method increase lifespan network. We propose a novel method, which utilizes brainstorm algorithm order adopt ideal cluster head (CH) reduce energy draining. Furthermore, effectiveness BrainStorm Optimization (BSO) enhanced with incorporation modified teacher–learner optimized (MTLBO) it. BSO–MTLBO attain improved throughput, network lifetime, consumption nodes CH, death nodes, routing overhead. performance our proposed work analyzed other existing approaches inferred that approach performs better than all approaches.
